Black Coffee claps AKAs road manager

What promised to be an evening of music and fun for Limpopo revelers turned out to be a spectacle all for the wrong reasons as acclaimed DJ Black Coffee allegedly slapped AKA’s road manager, Tshiamo Letshwene.

The reason for the altercation was apparently because AKA who was supposed to have performed before Black Coffee went on stage, arrived nearly two hours late for his set and upon his arrival, Black Coffee’s people were busy setting up and doing checks on their equipment for him to perform.

However, instead of AKA’s people waiting their turn they decided to go up on stage and also set up, and do micro phone checks, that’s when tempers begun to flare as Black Coffee went and confronted them, resulting in the slap which was captured on film.

And off course AKA being AKA decided to throw his toys out of the cot and left without performing. He went on to twitter to express how he felt though, tweeting the following:

“The media likes to portray me as an aggressive person….. Please explain to me what part of Black Coffee smacking my road manager is ok?”

“Let’s see you make me the bad guy in this situation. Good luck.”

“So I decided before I do something stupid, act like a fool in front of everybody …. Let me just go home ya know”

Fans were not having it and they are heavily on Black Coffee’s side, they’ve created a hashtag which was treneding for most of yesterday #ThingsBlackCoffeShouldSlap
