When we speak of one celebrity who is definitely making us ”breathe through the wound” we are speaking of Bonang Matheba. As if launching a brand new shampopo collection is not enough, the famous TV star has bagged 8 nominations at the Rockstar Awards 2020.
Queen B recently bagged 8 nods at the prestigious Rockstar Awards 2020 including the Global African ‘Stargirl’ of the year, Twitter Star and TV Star.
The Rockstar awards are the first African continental awards in history to recognize the most powerful, highly acclaimed and most influential personalities from the continent – as well as personalities from the rest of the world, with influence on and relevant to audiences on the African continent.
They have 48 categories such as sports, art, business, entertainment, media, and social media.
The awards will be hosted in September in Namibia – other South Africans on the nominee’s list include Sho Madjozi – the musician is also nominated in the global African “Stargirl” category. The reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi and Pearl Thusi are also nominated.
