CAF Champions League dates set for Chiefs, Sundowns

Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns’ dates and times for their CAF Champions League quarter-finals against Simba SC and Al Ahly have been finalized.

Chiefs face the Group A winners who ousted Pitso Mosimane’s Red Devils on Saturday 15 May after their Wednesday fixture against Swallows FC.

Gavin Hunt’s men will host the Tanzanian giants – who have the Dar es Salaam derby against Yanga on Saturday before a Tuesday league clash against Coastal Union – at FNB Stadium at 18h00.

Meanwhile, Mosimane’s return to face his former side, with whom he won the competition in the 2016/17 season have the Cairo derby against Zamalek SC before their 21h00 kick off on 15 May.

The second-leg ties of all four quarter-finals will be played out on 22 May – with the Club of the Century then set for a Super Cup final against reigning Confederation Cup champions RS Berkane.
