Cardi B gets executed Twitter style for hosting thanksgiving at her home with 37 family members
It’s no secret that Thanksgiving this year was different because of COVID-19. Whether you enjoyed the family festivities virtually, had a small gathering with the people you already live with, or cooked a small feast for one, the general consensus from the CDC was to keep things tight this year and limit interaction with people who aren’t from your immediate household. Looks like Cardi B missed the memo though, because she hosted nearly 40 people at her place in a blatant disregard for health guidelines.
On Twitter last night, Cardi wrote that she had “12 kids and 25 adults over the holidays. It was lit!!” Naturally, this upset a lot of her followers who didn’t have the luxury of spending time with their loved ones this year in the interest of being safe and slowing the spread.
Under Cardi’s post, one user wrote, “Bragging about your large gathering during a pandemic to your millions of impressionable fans who do not have the money that you have to get rapid tests is irresponsible.” Shortly after, others followed suit.
