Connie Ferguson has taken to her social media to pay touching tribute to late Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
The legendary actress best known for her role in Leon Schuster’s ‘Mama Jack’ died in the early hours of yesterday at the age of 66.
The news of her death was confirmed by a representative from Elysian Management.
It was stated that Shaleen suffered from diabetes and heart problems, and while either may have not been confirmed as the official cause of death, they were awaiting information that would emerge from the autopsy.
Taking to Instagram, Connie revealed she is still in disbelief about her death.
Connie wrote: “Still struggling to process the news of your passing! What a sad sad loss to us all! Everyone who was blessed to be in your presence experienced not only a mothers love, but the love of that naughty friend you bragged to your other friends about! Oh Shaleen the memories you leave us with! The legacy of your work! You are unforgettable! Rest now beautiful! Your work here is done. #ripshaleensurtierichards”
