Orlando Pirates is probably still recovering from a nice whooping by Wits this past weekend. The Soweto giants were ousted out of the Nedbank Cup.
After a gruelling match against Wits, the Buccanneers lost 3-2 on penalties to Bidvest Wits at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
The thriller went down to the wire, ending 3-3 after extra time.
Pirates came back from a two goal lead in regulation time to send the game into extra time.
Bienvenu Eva Nga and Deon Hotto gave Wits the 2-0 lead before Happy Jele and Thembinkosi Lorch pulled Bucs back.
Zakes Lepasa though he had won it for Bucs in extra time but Gift Motupa sent the match to penalties.
