It’s Heritage Month guys! Do you know what that means? It means going back to our roots and celebrating our different cultures that make us one! We all share a common South African heritage from birth, and when we say ”all”, we are also counting our famous celebrities.
Heritage Day, 24 September, is a day when South Africans can celebrate the diversity that makes SA such a wonderful place. Whether honouring your roots by dressing in colourful traditional wear or hanging around a braai, the point of Heritage Day is to remember and celebrate your culture.
Briefly.co.za is always amazed at how often and how many SA celebs stand up to not only protect their own culture but the multitude of cultures that make up Mzansi.
Whether it is Sjava wearing traditional Zulu attire to an event in New York City, or Rachel Kolisi showing off her proudly Mzansi momma skills in Fiji, our celebs are constantly representing.
In the spirit of Heritage Day, we take a look at just 10 of the proudly South African celebs who celebrate their heritage and defend our nation’s beautiful diversity 365 days a year.
