Last night, the first episode of Lip Sync Battle Africa kicked off its debut on DSTV’s MTV (channel 130).

The first to battle it out were ex-couple, TV personality Boity Thulo and rapper Cassper Nyvovest, both contenders were amped and ready to take the belt, but Boity shut the show down when she channelled Nicki Minaj in her performance of Anaconda. 

After that Cassper stood no chance even with his powerful performance of Whitney Houston’s classic I wanna Dance With Somebody, but sans any wardrobe change – we think if Cassper wanted to take the title he should have at least done it right by bringing some costume change.

Twitter quickly sprang to life when Bioty shook her buns… with people commenting and declaring her the winner even before the show ended.
