As if flying to New Orleans to cover the NBA All Star Weekend a few months ago was not enough to make her the “Bond girl” of the sporting world, Minnie Dlamini is now gearing to jet-off to Russia for a fancy new show.
On Wednesday the star announced that she will be heading up a new show on SuperSport ahead of the FIFA Confederations Cup.
The football tournament kicks off in Russia this weekend.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Minnie revealed that the new 30-minute magazine show, called From Russia with Love, will give viewers a peek into the sights and sounds of the Soviet nation during the tournament.
She said that she was excited for the show’s debut this weekend.
“I get to anchor my own show which I am very excited about and most of all I get to do what I love the most, talk about sport,” she said.
From Russia with Love will air every Saturday during the FIFA Confederations Cup on SuperSport 3 HD at 10am. As they say in Mzansi, ‘’Walala, Wasala’’ *You snooze you lose.*
