Accomplished TV and Radio Presenter, Pearl Modiadie, has consistently proven that she’s no one trick pony, but a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. This titan of everything media related has a decade of experience under her belt thanks to her professionalism and winning attitude and she’s about to add feather in her many hats as she has been announced as the host of a new SABC 1 reality fashion show, Raw Silk, which hits the small screens on Tuesday, 7 February 2017 at 21:00. Raw Silk is a fashion reality show with three judges; designer Ole Ledimo, fashion powerhouse Yasmin Furmie and make-up artist Nthato Mashishi. The show sees thirteen upcoming designers from across South Africa compete for the cash prize of R100 000, while making garments weekly and crossing fingers to escape the weekly eliminations.
