The Kalemba Short Story Prize team has announced the top six shortlisted books for Zambian writers taking part in the second edition of the writing competition whose winner will walk away with US$1,000.
Of the six nominated books selected from over 30 entries, five are written by women.
The six final entries are: The Masks – Lucy Zulu Simuzingili; All To Love – Lydia Ngoma; Pain By Any Other Name – Fiske Nyirongo; Inswa – Mubanga Kalimamukwento; Binary – Jumani Clarke and Career Battle – Mirriam Lusambo.
