Real Housewives of Durban is bringing in some presidential blood within their cast. Nonkanyiso Conco, the ex-wife of former president Jacob Zuma is reportedly joining the hot new SA reality TV show.
According to news outlets, the former president Jacob Zuma’s baby mama and ex-fiance, Nonkanyiso Conco has joined the cast of the upcoming show that is expected to hit our small screens come Friday, January 29th.
She joins the Ayanda Ncwane, Sfiso Ncwane’s widow and music mogul; Khomotso Ndungane – former Sharks and Springbok winger Odwa Ndungane’s wife and owner of events hiring service company; Sorisha Naaido – Durban’s club DJ and once cast on Diva’s of Jozi; Nonku Williams – founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery and then last being Anne-Tonni Lodick who runs a dance agency.
The four studded reality show promises to be a bang considering the success of another of its kind – Real Housewives of Johannesburg.
Nonkanyiso Conco says she joined the show to show her story the media has never shown.
She and the former president called it quits a few months ago.
The two have a son together and Nonkanyiso says she has finally come to terms with the fact that she will live with fact that she has to raise a son all by herself due to a not present father – Jacob Zuma.
The two were engaged to marry when Jacob Zuma ended their relationship.
Nonka, LaConco as she is popularly known in her circles is a businesswoman and has vowed to present viewers with her private life.
“The media has created its own image of who Nonkanyiso Conco is, and this show will afford viewers the opportunity to experience her,” she said.
