Being a celebrity child has its own equal share of advantages and disadvantages. As much as we’d all like to be like North West, Bahumi Mhlongo or maybe baby Kairo, we have to agree that there is no better fame than self-earned one.
Speaking of self-earned fame, South African entertainment royalty, Bahumi Mhlongo is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry without the help of her super-famous dad, Somizi Mhlongo.
The beauty just bagged a role on SABC 2’s Keeping Score, speaking to TshisaLive about her new role she said, “I have always been ready. I have been waiting for a defining moment in my life. I love being me but I have been preparing my name to be more than ‘just a celebs child.’ I am ready to claim my own fame. I also have time to focus on my YouTube channel and my acting. I am ready to be Bahumi: The actress.”
Keeping Score airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on SABC 2 at 9:30pm.
