Hey Neighbour Festival Postponed to December

The highly anticipated Hey Neighbour Festival has been officially cancelled for its August 2025 dates and will now take place in December. Initially slated to feature top-tier performances from global stars like Doja Cat, Central Cee, Black Coffee, and Leon Thomas, the festival organisers have made the difficult decision to move the event to ensure its success and sustainability.

Glen Netshipise, CEO of Hey Neighbour Festival, expressed his regret over the postponement, acknowledging the disappointment it may have caused to fans, sponsors, and artists. “As CEO of Hey Neighbour Festival, I want to acknowledge the disappointment caused by the postponement of the 2025 event,” he said.

“We understand the impact this has on our loyal festival-goers, sponsors, and artists. We also recognise that our communication around the challenges we’ve faced hasn’t been as clear as it should have been, and for that, we sincerely apologise.”

Netshipise reassured the public that the festival team is dedicated to improving transparency and communication moving forward, and is committed to delivering a festival that will be worth the wait. “Moving forward, we are committed to improving our transparency and communication, ensuring that everyone is kept informed as we work towards delivering an even better festival in December,” he added.

He also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from sponsors, artists, and attendees, stressing that their faith in the festival’s vision will help deliver an exceptional experience. “We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, artists, and attendees. Their faith in us is helping to ensure that we can deliver the best possible festival experience.”

For those who have already purchased tickets, there is good news. All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event in December, with the new dates and full line-up to be announced on September 30. Additionally, anyone who prefers a refund will have their requests processed by October 10.

Despite the change in schedule, the festival promises a stellar line-up and an unforgettable experience in December. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates on the official festival website and social media channels as more details unfold.
