In Pics | Senzo’s new tombstone destroyed
The tombstone of late former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa has been vandalised just under two months after it was unveiled.
The memorial tombstone for Meyiwa, who was gunned down in Vosloroos in 2014, has been destroyed not even two months since its unveiling at Chesterville Heroes Acre cemetary on November 10.

It unclear what actually happened and SAFA is still investigating the matter, but pictures were posted on social media revealing the full destruction caused by the vandals.
SAFA spokesman Dominic Chimhavi expressed his disgust at the recent events and vowed to get to the bottom of it.
“We’ve learned about this with disappointment and disgust at the news. We are so disappointed by the lack of respect shown to our former Bafana Bafana captain,” he tells KickOff.com.
“It’s a disgrace that people don’t respect cemeteries. We will get more information and take it from there. It’s really disappointing.”
