Multi-award-winning collective Inkabi Nation has unveiled their newest track, “Seloku,” a deeply emotional love anthem that beautifully captures themes of love, family, and unity. The song combines the raw emotion of personal experiences with powerful storytelling, making it a relatable masterpiece for listeners across the globe.
Under the expert mentorship of South African music heavyweight Big Zulu, Inkabi Nation continues to rise in prominence, blending soulful melodies with authentic narratives. The track kicks off with Mduduzi Ncube’s evocative vocals, “Ngithanda wena wedwa, ngifuna wena wedwa, akekho omunye,” which translates to a passionate declaration of love, setting a romantic and heartfelt tone from the very first note.
Adding layers to the track, the smooth, harmonising backing vocals of Lwah Ndlunkulu, alongside the rest of the Inkabi Nation crew—Xowla, Siya Ntuli, and Musiholiq—create a sonically rich and balanced sound that brings the emotional depth of the song to life.
In a recent statement, Xowla of Inkabi Nation shared insight into the group’s creative process, saying:
“Working with each other always reminds us that we have each other’s backs. It’s always a great vibe being in the studio together, performing as one, and most importantly, having a true family within the music industry, with Big Zulu as our guiding force.”
“Seloku” is not just a song; it’s a testament to the strong musical chemistry and unity within Inkabi Nation. With Big Zulu’s mentorship, the group continues to cement its place as one of South Africa’s leading music collectives, crafting tracks that resonate with fans on a deep, emotional level.
