Kanye West wants out of the company Jay Z owns!

It seems like the feud between Kanye West, 40, and JAY-Z, 47, is far from over. On July 2, new reports revealed some major beef between them over the music streaming company Tidal.

According to TMZ, Kanye wants out of the company that JAY-Z owns because of a money dispute. In turn, JAY-Z is reportedly threatening to sue his former pal if he opts to move his music to a different platform.

Kanye allegedly made the decision to walk away from Tidal about a month ago, when his lawyers sent a letter to the company claiming that his contract had been breached and therefore, terminated.

Yeezy claims that Tidal owes him close to $3 million dollars, in part for a bonus that he was promised for scoring the company 500,000 new subscribers with his 2016 album “The Life of Pablo.” He also claims that Tidal was supposed to reimburse him for music videos and never came through.

But, Tidal apparently feels that Kanye didn’t hold up his end of the bargain because he didn’t cough up the music videos that he was contractually required to deliver.

As far as Tidal is concerned, their exclusive contract with Kanye is still intact. They sent a letter back to Kanye’s lawyers saying that if the “Famous” rapper brings his music elsewhere, the company is ready to sue him.

Surprisingly, TMZ claims that Kanye had no idea that JAY-Z was about to drop an album bashing him when the financial dispute erupted last month. “4:44,” which was released on June 30, delivered some pretty harsh lyrics aimed at Kanye.

The track “Kill JAY-Z” hits hard: “But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f— was he thinkin’?”

It’s not looking like this feud is going to cool down anytime soon.
