After 12 years as the presenter of the popular local TV hit “Friends Like These!” DJ Sbu Leope has decided to finally call it a day. This, he says, he’s done in order to focus on his other business projects. DJ Sbu will be missed on the popular TV show, as he had remarkable wits about him, his brand of humour also made guests feel relaxed and be at ease in front of the cameras, whoever takes over the show sure has their work cut out for them that’s for sure.
On his departure from the popular television show DJ Sbu had this to say: “Friends Like These has made my entertainment career a success and made me a household name in the SA Television Industry. It is time I make way for others and move onto bigger challenges as a youth leader in business and community projects through my Foundation SLEF”. It seems this was planned as DJ Sbu has moved on to hosting a business show on CNBC Africa, Kicking Doors. The show started on the 4th August 2015, focuses on developing young African entrepreneurs.
