In Pics: Glitz & glam at the SONA 2020 red carpet

Let’s forget a bit about the disruptions caused during president Cyril Ramaphosa SONA speech yesterday and focus on the glam politicians, dignitaries and invited guests displayed on the red carpet.

The theme for this year’s SONA was “Following up on our commitments: making your future work better.”

At a cost of R4.7 million, this year’s SONA is reportedly by far one of the cheapest on the taxpayers’ pockets in recent history.

The red carpet is one of the highlights of the official opening of Parliament, it is also a platform where all celebrities, politicians and dignitaries showcase their fashion sense and style.
