The perks of being a Miss Universe, win the crown and move into a lavish New York City apartment. That’s not a fairy-tale, but a reality that our own girl Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is living.

Newly-crowned Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has officially moved into her lavish New York City apartment to commence her reign.

This after the South African beauty took the crown at the glamorous pageant on Sunday 26 November.

The new apartment, which will also come with living expenses, is a part of her prize package.

Demi-Leigh’s prize package also comes with a salary, all-expenses paid trips around the world, representation from WME IMG, a leading talent management agency in America, which is also the Miss Universe parent organization, and a “personal appearance wardrobe and styling” to name a few.

Demi shared a picture of herself moving into her new apartment and called it “My home for the next year”.
