If we were to compare the year 2016 to a feeling or situation, we would compare it to that moment you get off a rollercoaster ride or a marry-go-round, traumatic. Looking at the bright side of it, one has to agree that 2016 has undoubtedly blessed us with the following talented stars that we cannot get enough of and hope to see more of in 2017.

She came into our lives early this year and saw how much we love her music, after that she conquered. She’s a 3-in-1 gift pack that comes with dance moves, beautiful voice and absolute beauty.

A-Reece

 Real name; Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge is the 19-year-old rapper who signed a record deal with Ambitiouz Entertainment records this year. He won the Lyricist of the Year at this year’s South African Hip Hop Awards. His hit wonders include the unofficial national anthem, Mngani.

Amanda Black

The new queen in the industry who even after she was casted out of idols season 11, Amanda Benedicta Antony scored herself a deal under Ambitiouz Entertainment. Her 14-track album just went platinum after three weeks on the charts.

Makgotso M

Born and raised in Alberton, Makgotso is the new ‘’It girl’’ best known for her role as Onika on Muvhango, a gig that she landed this year. She can also be seen on Isidingo and is considered as one of the ‘’rising stars in the industry.’’

Ntando Duma

Ntando is a model, actress and tv personality who was born in Soweto and has made her mark in the industry. She has appeared on ShizNiz, Sisterhood and Craz-e. However, she is well-known for her role on Rhythm City as Zinzi Dandala.

In conclusion, if it wasn’t for these new faces in the industry, 2016 would’ve been a year to forget for us.
