Actress and motivational speaker Mona Monyane has taken to social media to speak out about her troubled marriage to her estranged ex-husband, actor Khulu Skenjana, stating that she is done protecting him after years of emotional pain and trauma.
In a series of candid posts shared on her timeline, Mona did not hold back, accusing Khulu of narcissistic abuse and a lack of emotional and financial support. She declared that after a decade of knowing him, she had reached her breaking point.

“His audacity and narcissist abuse will no longer be my portion. Until I get my divorce, I will expose him FULLY. I have already lost two kids to this marriage; I will not continue to lose my mind because Khulu Skenjana mentally and emotionally abuses me. Enough is enough,” she wrote.
The actress, who separated from Khulu in 2020 after four years of marriage, first opened up about their painful journey during an interview with Relebogile Mabotja in July. She detailed the emotional toll of losing their second child shortly after birth, just a year after welcoming their first in 2017. Their second child passed away in 2018 when their first-born was only seven months old—an experience Mona described as “profoundly painful.”

In her social media thread, Mona admitted that she could no longer remain silent or appear gracious while dealing with what she called “actual trauma.”
“I really don’t care anymore how I come across to people. I am so tired of this bull crap. I am so tired,” she added.
The actress further claimed that Khulu has not contributed financially to raising their child and alleged that he has shown a similar pattern of neglect toward another woman he fathered a child with. Mona referred to this woman as a “sister wife,” stating that she, too, had experienced emotional abandonment at Khulu’s hands.

She also shared a message Khulu had allegedly sent to the sister wife, whom he had reportedly paid lobola for before finalising their divorce, expressing relief that the woman eventually left him after seeing “who he really is.”
“I’m done being silent shem,” Mona said.
