In a stunning display of talent, strength, and empowerment, thirty incredible married women have emerged as the Top 30 contenders at the Mrs South Africa 2025 semi-finals, held at Hotel Sky in Sandton. The announcement came at the close of an intense three-day event filled with workshops, interviews, and judging rounds, where dozens of hopefuls competed for a spot in the final round later this year.

The semi-finals, hosted at the luxurious Hotel Sky, kicked off on July 2 with a series of impactful empowerment workshops, setting the stage for the fierce competition ahead. The judging process that followed involved swimwear judging and closed interview rounds, during which judges assessed contestants on a range of criteria including community impact, leadership skills, and public speaking. The event concluded on Friday night with a dazzling showcase, where each contestant had the chance to shine on stage.

At the helm of this transformative journey is Joani Jacobs, CEO of Mrs South Africa, whose vision has taken the pageant from a traditional beauty competition to a world-class empowerment, skills development, and mentorship program. Under her leadership, Mrs South Africa has become known as the ‘MBA of life’, drawing hundreds of women each year eager to unlock their potential and make a lasting impact on their communities.

“Every entrant brings a unique story to the table, and our mission is to amplify those stories, sharing their messages of courage, hope, and purpose,” says Jacobs. “Through this program, we help these women develop into powerful leaders who can drive change and inspire others. This year’s group of semi-finalists has been nothing short of extraordinary. They have evolved from confident women with untapped potential into strong leaders who are ready to command attention, make a difference, and change the world around them. We can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next.”

The semi-final showcase on Friday night was hosted by TV personality and entrepreneur Ayanda Thabethe, with musical performances by singer-songwriter Lloyd Cele. Reigning Mrs South Africa Erin-Jane Miller delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the semi-finalists to aim higher and absorb every lesson offered by the program. Her words of guidance resonated deeply with the contestants, pushing them to reach their fullest potential.

As the night unfolded, the energy in the room was palpable, and the anticipation was high as the Top 30 finalists were revealed. Each of these women stands as a testament to the power of resilience, ambition, and the desire to positively impact their communities.
