Nomzamo Mbatha named Woman of the Year by Koko magazine.

2017 has definitely been a slaying year for local celebrity Nomzamo Mbatha. From hosting at the Essence Music festival in New Orleans to shooting a campaign for PUMA alongside model Cara Delevingne, and now…… *DRUM BEATS*

On Tuesday the actress revealed that she had been named Woman of the Year by KOKO magazine – an online fashion and lifestyle magazine in Nigeria.

Honoured by the announcement, Nomzamo wrote in part: “Me? 2017 WOMAN OF THE YEAR? WOW… This is for all the girls from dusty streets across Africa. Friends, 2017 was perhaps one of the most challenging, yet rewarding years of my life & career. Practically living out of my suitcase and in & out the airport. (sic)”

Other stars nominated in the category include Bonang Matheba, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage.
