Rafael Nadal will face Roger Federer in Sunday's Australian Open final after the Spaniard beat Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 5-7, 7-6, (7/5), 6-7 (4/7), 6-4.
In a pulsating match that lasted 4hr 56 min, Nadal eventually came through to set up the final that the majority of the tennis world has been desperately hoping for.

The final will begin at 08.30 GMT on Sunday morning.
He said in an interview, "It's hard to try and describe my emotions. First of all I was tired and Grigor was playing unbelievable. It was a great match.
"I feel very happy to be part of it. I enjoyed it a lot, the crowd was amazing. Many thanks for that huge support these two weeks.
"When you work hard and have tough moments it's amazing to be here. Last year was tough for me because it takes a while to get back to my level.
"I worked a lot during the last month and a half at home, but I never dreamed I would be back in the final of the Australian Open. I'm very very happy.
