What was meant to be a relief for eager fans turned into further disappointment, as Computicket continued to face technical issues despite extending ticket sales for Kelvin Momo’s Red Bull Symphonic Concert to April 30.
Originally launched last Friday, ticket sales for the June 6–8 event at The Teatro in Montecasino triggered a digital stampede, with the amapiano maestro’s devoted fan base crashing Computicket’s website within hours. The overwhelming demand for the artist—celebrated for his soulful, immersive beats—crippled the platform and left countless fans empty-handed.
In response to the chaos, organisers extended the ticket sales window to April 30, hoping to accommodate those who were unable to buy due to the crash. However, even with the extension, many fans continued to report problems accessing the platform or completing transactions.

Social media has since been ablaze with frustration, with fans venting over the repeated outages and expressing fears that they’ll miss out on what’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events in South Africa’s music calendar.

As of now, there’s no official word on whether another extension or alternative ticketing solution will be offered, leaving many fans in limbo.
