SA celebrities who survived Covid-19

It is clear to everyone by now that coronavirus is not the end of the world. Yes, it is a serious virus that can lead to serious fatalities and death, but we can beat it! We draw the strength to say this from some of our local celebrities who publicly announced that they were infected, but somehow managed to beat the virus.

These celebs who have recovered from Covid-19, or have had close brushes with the virus, have shared their stories on social media.The current confirmed number of recoveries in the country stands at 298,292 (according to SA coronavirus website)

Entrepreneur and reality show star TT Mbha, was on cloud nine after testing negative for Covid-19. TT recently announced that he was self-isolating after he testing positive for Covid-19.

Entertainment couple Gail and Kabelo Mabalane also came out victorious!

Kabelo was the first to test for the virus 2 weeks ago and was taken care of by Gail who had to go test after her grandfather passed on.

The couple shared their experiences in an attempt to spread some light on the virus and remind people of the seriousness of it.

The Queen actor Mlamli Mangcala who recently tested positive for Covid 19 also survived the virus!

He had shared his battle with the disease when he wasn’t able to walk or breathe on his own. The actor previously posted a video of him in the hospital, on oxygen.

AKA the Supa Mega also announced today that he ”beat” coronavirus. News of the rapper testing positive shocked Mzansi, with some speculating that the government paid him to lie about testing positive.


”I just beat Coronavirus’ ass like it owed me money. Wait … 🤔 … It does owe me money!!! Praise God,” {SIC}

See, it is possible to beat this deadly pandemic, we just have to keep fighting!
