At just 21 years old, Shandesh — real name Rakgoale Nelly Machethe — is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices in South African music. Hailing from Solomondale, just outside Polokwane, the singer is best known for her signature sound rooted in lekompo, a genre-fluid blend of amapiano, bolo house, and other dance-floor favourites.
