The hit song  Shumaya which was released last year, 2015 and has been the most widely played record to date has been downloaded over 4 million times.  

This achievement has elevated the makers of the hit track, Durban Nyts‚ to a whole new level within the music local music industry.

The group revealed the news of their tracks success on their official Facebook page, they not only shared that piece of good news but they also shared that over the past few months they have not only gone platinum‚ but have exceeded this and gone straight to triple platinum status with over 4 million downloads.

Besides the stand-off with their vocalist Zinhle Ngidi, who on social media threatened cutting ties with them for snubbing her at the Metro FM Music Awards, the group has done phenomenally well and we're sure they have more to offer in terms when it comes to keeping the masses on the dancefloor.
