Award winning musician and actor Sjava is officially a free man after being accused of raping his ex-girlfriend, Lady Zamar three years ago.
It seems that the court has decided not to prosecute the media personality as reports have confirmed that the case was declined for prosecution two weeks ago.
According SowetanLive, Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed this. “On November 5, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court.” The Sowetan further reported that NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said that the state declined to prosecute because it believed the evidence did not support a successful prosecution.

Lady Zamar said the incident happened in a hotel in Limpopo in 2017. She opened a case at a police station last year after a public break-up from Sjava. However, she refuted claims of being in a romantic relationship with Sjava. She said that they were only getting to know each other.
Sjava has been cleared of all charges after the case was dismissed and hopefully, he recovers from all the time and money lost during the whole case.
