We’ve never seen anything like this before! Over the weekend, the new cool kid in the block Blxckie hosted a very nerve-wracking, but very successful album launch that was star studded and packed with fans who supported the musician for his latest album B4Now.
To say the least, Blxckie is the Messiah that the South African Hip-Hop circle has been waiting for! Our field journos unofficially attended the album launch and judging from what they said, it was a night to remember.
Leading up to the album launch which took place at Zone 6 Venue, the rapper expressed on multiple interview how daunted he was as the success of the launch depended on attendance and support.

Judging from the shortage of alcohol from the venue, it is assumed that management didn’t really think that the turn-up was going to be that huge. However, they did their best to ensure the event ends just in time to allow fans to adhere to the President’s curfew orders.
The talented artist brought his all during his charged performance to show his gratitude to fans and artists for showing up and supporting him at the launch. Much to his surprise, the response from fans during his ‘Sika’ performance which is a a more Kwaito happy-feel song, had fans singing along despite it being different from the rest.
Artists that came through to support the musician were Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest, Nobantu Vilakazi, Yanga and a whole lot of Amapiano DJs.
