Actress, producer, and cultural powerhouse Zikhona Sodlaka is celebrating an incredible 20 years in the entertainment industry — and she’s doing so with intention and passion.
This milestone year is not only about honouring her profound impact but also about inspiring others, sparking important conversations, and fostering new talent. To kick off the celebrations, Zikhona is launching a nationwide masterclass tour aimed at empowering the next generation of creatives.
With a career that has spanned television, film, and theatre, Zikhona has become a cornerstone of Mzansi’s cultural fabric. Her impactful performances and authentic storytelling have captivated audiences for two decades. Now, she’s taking on a new role as a mentor, guide, and teacher, offering her wealth of knowledge and experience to up-and-coming artists across the country.
The Zikhona Sodlaka Masterclass promises to be a transformative experience. It’s a space for creatives to connect, learn, and grow through interactive, guided engagement. Participants will gain invaluable insights into owning their voice, navigating the entertainment industry, and building a lasting career in the arts.
“The essence of storytelling is in its simplicity, and I am excited to share my interpretation of it,” says Zikhona. “For me, it’s about storytelling, self-belief, and creating with purpose. I want to empower others to bring their own unique voices to the forefront.”

The nationwide tour will make stops in the following cities:
- Gqeberha – 31st May
- Bloemfontein – 1st June
- Cape Town – 28th June
- Mpumalanga – 5th July
- Durban – 28th July
- Johannesburg – 30th August
But the masterclass tour is just the beginning. Throughout the year, Zikhona will unveil a series of special projects and celebrations, each highlighting the multi-faceted woman, artist, and cultural icon she has become.
