Hip-hop icon Jay-Z is taking fans on a trip down memory lane as he celebrates the 30th anniversary of his classic debut album, Reasonable Doubt with a special three-night concert run at Yankee Stadium in New York. The first night of the series was dedicated entirely to the groundbreaking 1996 album, giving fans a chance to experience one of hip-hop’s greatest records performed live from start to finish.
The show was packed with unforgettable moments as Jay-Z performed timeless classics including “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” “Dead Presidents II,” “Can I Live,” and “Brooklyn’s Finest.” The concert paid tribute to the album that launched his legendary career and cemented his place as one of rap’s greatest lyricists.
Fans were also treated to several surprise guest appearances. Beyoncé opened the show by performing Mary J. Blige’s part on “Can’t Knock the Hustle”, while Nas joined Jay-Z on stage for a medley of classics, marking another powerful moment between two artists whose rivalry once defined an era of hip-hop. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also received a standing ovation after joining her father on stage during “Feelin’ It”.
The celebrations continued throughout the weekend with appearances from stars including Rihanna, Eminem, Alicia Keys, Usher, Pharrell Williams and Teyana Taylor, turning the concert series into one of the biggest music events of the year.

However, the final night wasn’t without drama. The concert was delayed by more than three hours after hundreds of people without tickets attempted to force their way into Yankee Stadium, prompting officials to temporarily close the entrances for safety reasons. Once on stage, Jay-Z apologized to fans for the delay, explaining that everyone’s safety had to come first before the show could begin.
