ORAH: WHERE LIGHT FINDS YOU, A NEW MUSIC AND WELLNESS DESERT EXPERIENCE LAUNCHES IN THE TANKWA KAROO THIS DECEMBER.

ORAH will take off at POD
from 17–20 December 2026, with Parisian DJ Philou making her first
South African appearance alongside a curated local and international
line-up.

Limited to just 400 guests, ORAH: Where Light Finds You will take place at POD, bringing together electronic music, live performance, wellness and immersive experiences within one of the Karoo’s most dramatic
landscapes.

At the centre of ORAH is music. POD’s natural canyon becomes the
festival’s main stage, with performances moving from sunset deep into
the night and through to sunrise.

Headlining ORAH is Parisian DJ and producer Philou, making her first
appearance in South Africa. Her sound moves between house, acid house and Latin-infused electronic music, shaped by her roots between Paris and Brazil. Philou has played stages including Tomorrowland Winter, The Gardens of Babylon and Mayan Warrior, and she is also a Chanel ambassador. She is joined by STAB Virus, Nici Nice, Stirling, Boaba Kieka, Rizzo, T-Bryan, Vivien Paul, Mecca, Loskop and The Twins roXim, with further artists and live performers forming part of the three-night programme.

Rather than following a conventional festival format, ORAH unfolds
through three distinct chapters. First Light opens the gathering on
Thursday with an opening ceremony to mark the beginning. Meet us at the dam, Dress in gold and white as the sun begins to fall. We reconnect. We step into ORAH. Where the journey begins. Friday, The Presence, A day celebrating feminine energy. Turns inward by day with Yoga, Breathwork, Sound Journey, Connection Workshop. As night falls, Female-led DJs take over the canyon. Reckoning takes over Saturday, building towards a final night of music, fire and the canyon transforms. A night of release, of becoming. We dance until desert turn gold

Wellness runs alongside the music throughout the weekend rather than
sitting apart from it. Curated by Parisha Tigermoon and Cézanne Le
Clercq, the programme includes breathwork, sound healing, yoga,
meditation, cacao ceremony and other practices inviting every guest to
slow down, reconnect and experience the magic of being fully present.

“We didn’t build ORAH to be big. We built it to be felt,” says
co-founder Jerome Cohen. “Four hundred people changes everything.
You’re not disappearing into a crowd. You experience the music, the
landscape and the people around you differently. That intimacy is at the
heart of ORAH.”

Set among desert plains, rock formations and vast night skies, POD
itself plays an important role in the concept. Guests move between the
infinity dam, canyon, wellness spaces and communal areas, with
accommodation ranging from bring-your-own camping to fully prepared
glamping, camper vans and private stays.
