Orchid MusiQ has released her debut solo single, "Hambe," out now on all major streaming platforms via Believe.
The record marks the first solo release from an artist whose voice already runs through much of the contemporary amapiano landscape. Over the past two years, Orchid MusiQ has secured more than six placements across major amapiano albums and worked with some of the genre's most respected names, including Sam Deep, Da Muziqal Chef and Benny Maverick. She has also featured alongside Nasty C.
Her recent work reaches well beyond guest features. Orchid MusiQ is one of the artists on the University of Cotton Fest "Class of 2026" Mixtape, the collaborative project produced by multi-platinum producer MashBeatz, continuing Riky Rick's legacy of spotlighting the country's most promising new voices. She is also among the voices behind the music for eGagasini: Waves of Change, e.tv's prime-time youth music telenovela produced by Stained Glass TV. Together, they show a range that moves comfortably between the club, the studio and the screen.
