The Grammy-nominated singer is set to headline the final night of Ndlala Grandeur II at the Ndlala Arena in Pretoria on Sunday, 23 August 2026. The three-day festival runs from 21 to 23 August and will celebrate some of the biggest names in R&B, bringing together international stars and South African talent. R&B singer Case is also part of the weekend’s lineup.
Tyrese’s trip to Mzansi could last much longer than just one performance. The “Sweet Lady” hitmaker recently revealed that he plans to stay in Africa for up to a month after his Pretoria show. He explained that because the journey from the US to South Africa takes around 22 hours, he wants to make the most of his time on the continent.
Tyrese said he has always wanted to tour Africa and is now looking for more opportunities while he is in the region. The singer is open to concerts, festivals, private events, corporate bookings and hosting opportunities across Africa. He also revealed that his schedule is open through early 2027.
