A new Marathon Burger location opened up with a bang… literally.

Chaos ensued at the grand opening of a new Marathon Burger location in downtown Long Beach, where gunshots were fired and caused panic at the event.

The incident occurred Sunday around 3:30 pm PT as attendees gathered for the launch. Video footage showcases law enforcement officers arresting one individual after the incident had occurred.

There is no context or confirmation as to what led to the shooting, however is has been said that multiple people were shot and one person sadly passed away.

The event had several high-profile attendees, including Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, and YG, but reportedly left long before the shooting occurred.
