Distruction Boyz Records proudly presents “Amahebezi”, the brand new Gqom single from rising KZN sensation Solan Lo, out now on all major digital streaming platforms.
“Amahebezi” is pure Gqom energy – built around a very high and trendy slogan that is highly appreciated in Gqom culture. With its hard-hitting log drums, infectious chant and dancefloor-ready bounce, the track is set to dominate sound systems, taxis and clubs.
The single came to life four months ago when Solan Lo conceptualized the idea and brought in hitmaker Goldmax to help bring it to fruition. He is joined by a powerhouse collective featuring Sunshine, Woza Bakzin, Ornica Bellz and Moh&Dalee.
For Solan Lo, the collaboration is nothing new. “I started working as a collective 5 years ago. I’ve worked with many artists in the industry before,” he says.
DJ Solan Lo is a DJ and producer from Howick who has become known as a sound designer extraordinaire in Durban – the vibe and mood setter. A young male who comes from a small village, he grew up less advantaged but always had the drive to be successful, more especially in the music industry. Fueled by a deep passion for production and DJing, he is steadily carving his name in the Gqom scene.

“Amahebezi” is a standalone single, but fans can expect more. Solan Lo confirms he is currently working on a bigger project expected in 2027.
Solan says he wants the public to know “I have a great personality, I love music and performing in big events. I believe music makes the world go around.”
