21 Savage is opening up about fatherhood and how raising his baby daughter with Latto has given him a completely different experience as a dad.
The rapper recently appeared on The Pete Davidson Show, where he reflected on becoming a father again and admitted that his current circumstances have allowed him to be much more present than he was when he welcomed his older children.
According to 21 Savage, being able to stay at home and experience the everyday realities of caring for a newborn, including those late-night feedings has changed his perspective on fatherhood.
The rapper is already a father to three older children, but said having a baby with Latto feels different because of where he is in life now.
21 Savage and Latto welcomed their first child together earlier this year after keeping much of their relationship and pregnancy away from the public eye.
Latto announced her pregnancy in March through the cover of her album Big Mama, where she proudly showed off her baby bump. She later shared an emotional video documenting her pregnancy journey, including moments with 21 Savage, family and friends, before confirming the arrival of her daughter.
The couple have continued to keep their daughter largely out of the spotlight, choosing not to publicly reveal her name or share too many details about her life.

For 21 Savage however, becoming a father again appears to have given him a chance to experience parenthood in a new way.
He acknowledged that when he became a dad earlier in his life, his circumstances made it more difficult for him to be as involved as he would have liked. Now, being able to be at home with his newborn daughter has allowed him to experience the smaller moments of parenting first-hand.
His comments come as Latto has also been candid about her transition into motherhood. The “Big Mama” rapper previously admitted that her anxiety was high before giving birth, despite always wanting to become a mother.
“I was just like, ‘Wait, this real life, like am I really ready?’” Latto said while discussing the emotional experience of giving birth.
The couple have certainly entered a new chapter together, with Latto embracing motherhood while continuing to navigate her music career.
