ABC has reportedly pulled the plug on Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette following new allegations of domestic abuse, along with the resurfacing of a 2023 video showing a confrontation with her child’s father.
A spokesperson for Disney Entertainment said, “In light of the newly surfaced video released today, we have decided not to move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
ABC moved swiftly on Thursday to cancel the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, just hours after TMZ released footage of Taylor Frankie Paul’s alleged 2023 altercation with Dakota Mortensen.
A source close to the production said that no one at ABC had seen the video prior to it being published Thursday morning.
As previously reported, both Taylor and Dakota have been ordered to undergo psychological evaluations following a new wave of abuse allegations, while the Utah Division of Children and Family Services is currently investigating ongoing claims of violence between the two.
