After years of speculation and endless fan requests, Camp Rock 3 is officially making its long-awaited debut this August, marking the return of one of Disney’s most beloved musical franchises. More than 15 years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, a new generation of campers is ready to take the stage while familiar faces return to where it all began.
The film will premiere on Disney Channel on August 13, before arriving on Disney+ on August 14, giving fans the chance to relive the magic that made the original movies cultural phenomena. Leading the nostalgia-filled comeback are the Jonas Brothers, who reprise their roles as Connect 3 members Shane, Nate and Jason Gray. This time around, the band returns to Camp Rock after losing the opening act for their reunion tour. While the movie introduces a fresh cast of rising stars; including Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone and Casey Trotter, it also welcomes back Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie Torres, a fan-favorite character from the original films. Although she will not appear on screen, Lovato is serving as an executive producer on the film, helping bring the next chapter of the franchise to life.
