Kylie Jenner and members of her management team are facing a series of lawsuits filed by three former household employees. Over the past few months, two former housekeepers and a private chef have taken legal action in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging racial discrimination, labour law violations, retaliation, and pregnancy-related mistreatment while working at Kylie’s homes.
The first lawsuit was filed by former housekeeper Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, who says she experienced a hostile work environment from the day she started working at Jenner’s Hidden Hills home. Vasquez, who is Salvadoran and Catholic claims supervisors made offensive comments about her nationality, accent, and religion. She also alleges one supervisor threw clothing hangers at her feet during a confrontation. In addition to the discrimination claims, Vasquez says she was not properly paid for overtime, often received late wages, and was denied legally required meal and rest breaks.
A second former housekeeper, Juana Delgado Soto, filed a similar lawsuit after working for Jenner for six years. According to the complaint, Soto says her supervisor regularly mocked her English and subjected her to racial harassment. She claims that after leaving a letter on Jenner’s massage bed describing the alleged abuse, management retaliated against her by reducing her hourly pay, changing her schedule to eliminate overtime opportunities, and increasing her workload. Soto also alleges that household staff were instructed to “disappear” whenever they crossed paths with Kylie and were not allowed to drink water from the home’s supply.

The most serious allegations come from Jenner’s former private chef, who filed the lawsuit anonymously. The chef claims she regularly worked 11- to 12-hour shifts despite informing supervisors that she had a high-risk pregnancy. According to the lawsuit, she was forced to carry heavy food items uphill during a New Year’s Eve event, causing a medical emergency that required assistance from security staff. She also alleges that while catering a children’s birthday party in Palm Springs, her repeated requests for physical help were ignored. The chef says she became overwhelmed, broke down in tears, and suffered a miscarriage the following morning. The lawsuit further claims that after informing management about the loss of her pregnancy, she was criticised for leaving the kitchen untidy and told to stop crying because she was “upsetting Kylie.”
Although Kylie Jenner is named as a defendant, the lawsuits state that most of the alleged abuse was carried out by supervisors rather than Kylie personally. However, the plaintiffs argue that Jenner, her company, and management firms, including Tri Star Services, failed to prevent or address the alleged misconduct within the workplace. The three former employees are represented by attorney Della Shaker and are seeking unspecified damages, unpaid wages, and compensation for emotional distress. The allegations have not been proven in court, and Jenner and the other defendants have the opportunity to respond to the claims through the legal process.
