DJ, beauty, fashion icon, and cultural tastemaker DJ Doowap is back with another sonic explosion — and she’s not here to play. Fresh off the success of her viral hit “Shay’sthombe”, Doowap has officially dropped her second Bacardi-infused single, “Seroba Ke Seh” — and it’s a certified party starter.

Teaming up with Bacardi pioneer Enny Man Da Guitar and Pretoria wordsmith C.Jaymnandi, the track is a high-energy celebration of Pitori’s underground flavour, ready to take over speakers from Pretoria to Paris. With pounding percussion, bold lyrics, and a groove that’s impossible to resist, “Seroba Ke Seh” plants Doowap even deeper in her throne as Mzansi’s Bacardi Babe.

“With this new release, I’m continuing to solidify my place as South Africa’s ‘Bacardi Babe,’” says Doowap. “Working with a legend like Enny Man Da Guitar was a dream. This song is a tribute to where Bacardi comes from — and a bold step toward where it’s going.”

The phrase “Seroba Ke Seh”, pulled from Pretoria slang, roughly translates to “Here’s that banger” — and the track lives up to the name. It’s built for movement, sweat, joy, and late-night dancefloors. C.Jaymnandi brings lyrical fire with a verse that drips with rhythm and realness.

“From the moment you hear those electrifying Bacardi sonics and lyrics, you want to dance,” says C.Jaymnandi. “It’s not the fake, filtered kind of fun — it’s that real, unbothered energy. We made this for the world, but it started in Pitori.”

And Doowap isn’t just lighting up local clubs — she’s taking the Bacardi movement global. Currently on a European tour, she’s already set dancefloors ablaze in Paris and Berlin, and is now gearing up to bring South African street sound to Paris Fashion Week. Yes — Bacardi is about to hit the runway.

“Right now, the world is looking to Africa for music, fashion, and cultural inspiration,” says Doowap. “Bacardi is the next global wave. ‘Seroba Ke Seh’ is our invitation to the world to dance with us.”

Beyond the decks, DJ Doowap continues to disrupt the fashion and beauty space as an ambassador for Maybelline and Adidas, proving that her influence stretches from the booth to the billboard.
