Pamela Mtanga, digital creator and host, celebrated a major achievement after being named Glamour’s Most Glamorous 2025 Style Influencer. The award recognises influencers who significantly impact fashion trends and inspire others with their unique style. Pamela shared her joy on Instagram, thanking her supporters and team for helping her reach this milestone.
“Boothangs WE WON Glamour’s Most Glamorous 2025 Style Influencer because of your support, thank you!” she posted, reflecting on the journey that led her to this moment. Pamela expressed gratitude for her team, saying, “I wake up every single week with a new vision and my team never says no… I feel like a child whose parents validate her dreams.”
Pamela also took a moment to appreciate her collaborative journey in fashion content creation. She mentioned how, after deciding to return to creating fashion videos, a fellow creator Sesethu played a pivotal role in helping her bring her ideas to life. “We’d be chasing the sun from Cape Town CBD to Sea Point to finish shooting… I’d be changing in the car with random strangers seeing more than they should be but this makes it all worth it!” Pamela said, highlighting the effort and dedication that went into her work behind the scenes.
One of the defining moments in her career came when she borrowed clothes from an Adidas Ivy Park campaign shoot, which led to over 25% of her following discovering her on social media.

“That was a pivotal moment for my career because if it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t be creating fashion content,” Pamela reflected. The experience eventually led to her becoming a lifestyle ambassador for the brand.
“90% of my clothes aren’t sponsored. I buy the clothes you see me style. And because I re-style them, it’s hard to take them back to the store,” she admitted.
Despite the challenges, Pamela emphasised that her work isn’t driven by awards but expressed how rewarding it feels to receive recognition for her efforts. “I don’t do what I do for awards but I won’t lie, it feels good to get recognition!”
