The woman charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at Rihanna’s home is in danger of losing her license to practice speech-language pathology.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, California prosecutors say Ivanna Lisette Ortiz is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state. A member of the board responsible for overseeing licensing in her field is now seeking to have her barred from practicing if she is released from law enforcement custody.
The board member noted that Ortiz has been licensed since April 2016, with her certification set to remain valid until June 2027.

Ortiz is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday morning. If she is granted bail or released on her own recognisance, the board is requesting that any release conditions prohibit her from working with the public as a speech-language pathologist.
She is facing serious charges, including one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling. The charges stem from allegations that she fired multiple shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home with an AR-15-style rifle while the singer and her children were inside.
