Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected release date has been revised once again, with the music mogul now expected to leave federal prison in February 2028, according to records from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Combs, is currently serving his 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after being sentenced in October 2025 on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
His projected release date was initially listed for May 2028 but has since shifted several times as his sentence calculations were updated. The latest projection puts his release at 5 February 2028.
The Bad Boy Records founder has reportedly also participated in residential drug treatment programming while behind bars. Federal inmates can potentially reduce their sentences through good-conduct credits and participation in qualifying rehabilitation programmes.
