The retired NBA superstar took to Instagram on Sunday, August 30, to promote what he believes could be the next big footwear trend for men.
In the playful video, the 54-year-old showed off a pair of tan, woven-leather huarache sandals before turning the camera towards his feet, revealing his sparkling pink toenails.
“Ladies, if your man ain’t got some of these, you need to break up with him,” Shaq joked in the video. “I’m bringing ’em back!”
The basketball legend doubled down on his fashion advice in the caption, telling women to make sure their partners get themselves a pair of the sandals.
While the sandals were the focus of Shaq’s announcement, it was his glittery pink nail polish that quickly caught the attention of fans.
The NBA icon is famously known for his massive feet, reportedly wearing a US men’s size 22 shoe, making the oversized sandals even more of a talking point.
