38 Talent Ltd. is turning up the volume with the Simunye Music Experience – a brand-new event series that’s more than just a party. Inspired by the Zulu word Simunye, meaning “we are one,” this cultural celebration brings Mzansi’s vibrant urban music scenes together under one powerful groove.
Each edition of Simunye will spotlight a specific genre—think Amapiano, Hip Hop, Deep House, Gqom, Lekompo, Kwaito, Afrotech, and Afropop—with curated lineups, immersive vibes, and a full lifestyle experience to match.
The inaugural edition, Simunye Music Series: Amapiano, is scheduled for July 5 at Maracanà in Sandton. Headliners include well-known Amapiano artists Sir Trill, Pabi Cooper, and Russell Zuma, with more performers to be announced in the lead-up to the event via 38 Talent’s social media platforms.
