Nigerian music superstar Yemi Alade has officially entered the beauty world with the launch of her brand YEM Beauty, which is celebrating its one-month anniversary. The debut collection features a bold red lipstick and matching lip pencil called Nairobi, designed for anyone who wants to make a statement and turn heads.
Yemi reflected that the journey to launching her beauty brand wasn’t an easy one. “One of my biggest struggles through this journey was my quest for perfection and the fear that this beauty brand wouldn’t become a reality.”
Over four years, Yemi meticulously worked on every detail, from product development to campaigns and application videos, often reshooting to ensure everything perfectly aligned with her vision.
