From a felony conviction in the 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, ahead of the Grammys, to assaulting a man in Washington back in 2014, followed by a fraud accusation for failing to perform a concert last year, and now, getting arrested for assaulting a woman using a deadly weapon during a gathering at his home!
One would swear that Chris Brown loves being surrounded by the fat blue-line after a bizarre, hours-long stand-off with police before getting arrested on Tuesday afternoon following the suspicion.
The arrest, which was witnessed by several news helicopters that swirled overhead and throngs of camera crews gathered at the bottom of Brown's hilltop estate, took a thrilling 14-hour-long stand-off and investigation by police.
On briefing several news portals, Los Angeles police spokesman Lt. Chris Ramirez revealed that officers took to Brown's property in the Tarzana neighbourhood of Los Angeles around 03:00 to confirm if he identified the woman, which at first, he strongly denied.
Before being issued with a search warrant, a disgruntled Breezy showed no respect towards the law in a series of videos he posted on Instagram.
"So I'm alseep half the damn night. I just wake up. All these helicopters around, police out there at the gate. What the f*ck else you want from me, bro?"
The accuser, Baylee Curran, who was crowned Miss California Regional in a beauty pageant this year, identified herself as the caller as she also took to Instagram.
"Do you all honestly think I wanted this and I caused this?" asked Curran, who appeared to be in a moving car.
"If somebody put a gun to your head, what would you do? Call the police," she said.
She also took to the media to accuse Breezy of having ‘’trust issues’’ after the singer allegedly became angry when she admired the jewellery of a member of his entourage.
It seemed like Brown wasn’t the only one bothered by this saga, even his neighbour, a television and radio host Jillian Barberie, took to twitter to complain about the noise from helicopters that flew over the area.
